Word count

I'm seeing some submissions over 500 words. Will anything over 500 words be considered? Just carefully counting my words before submitting. Thanks.

  We will do word counts on any entry that is in final consideration for a prize, we will probably not do counts on all entries, but you are still advised to try to keep your entry to 500 words or less. This is especially important for the public voting.
