A'Jay is tireless in her work at Kansas Children's Discovery Center. In collaboration with Topeka Boys and Girls Club, she has developed a program, Bridge the Gap, where middle school youth learn about poverty and how to overcome it. The program generates a passion for community service among the participating youth. Additional results of the program - a marked improvement in math, reading and writing skills in just the 1st six weeks of the program!
